Tuesday 9/10: Heavens Die @ Dragon’s Roast
Virginia-based hardcore bands Heaven’s Die and Dimension Six make a stop in Chattanooga on their September tour, hitting cities from Detroit to Miami. Joining them are Fleshless Body from Springfield, MO, and Atlanta’s Tsuris. It’s going to get loud and heavy. // Dragon’s Roast 7PM $15
Wednesday 9/11: Theo Lawrence @ Cherry St. Tavern
Theo Lawrence, a French-Canadian singer-songwriter now based in Austin, blends 1950s and 60s country with touches of rock ’n’ roll and pop. His music showcases a deep reverence for American traditions, evident in his latest album Pickin’ & Singin’, where he channels classic country with modern flair. Wednesday 9/11: The 502s @ The Signal
Orlando’s The 502s bring infectious energy to the indie folk scene, known for their joyous live shows. Led by Ed Isola and his crew of lifelong friends, this six-piece band blends folk with a variety of influences, earning over 150 million streams and selling out shows worldwide. Friday 9/13: Sinai Vessel @ Yellow Racket Records
North Carolina’s Sinai Vessel, the project of Caleb Cordes, offers a powerful, genre-blending approach to indie rock. Introspective lyricism and a reflective sound are abundant on his latest LP I SING, earning critical praise. Sinai Vessel’s layered textures challenge and engage. Friday 9/13: We Are Us @ Boneyard
Chattanooga alt-pop band We Are Us celebrates the release of their latest album with a release show this Friday. Fronted by Darren Johnson, Travis Avery, Colin James, and Kyle MacKillop, the band was named one of the city’s best in 2020.
