It’s mocktail night at Asheville Dispensary on Chattanooga’s Northshore, featuring live music from Nicholas Edward Williams. He’s a Seattle-born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He’s toured for 15 years across the US, UK, Europe, and Australia. Williams has opened for acts like Taj Mahal and The Wood Brothers. Thursday 5/24: Jazz Futures @ Songbirds
The incredibly talented local musician Dakari Kelly, who has played with Rick Rushing, Deacon Blues, and Ogya World Music Band, is hosting a night of musical education and exploration. Erica Falls, a soul singer and songwriter from New Orleans’ 9th Ward, draws on influences like Roberta Flack and Aretha Franklin. Her vintage sound blends past and present soul. Erica has worked with icons like Allen Toussaint and Sting and starred in Lee Daniels’ The Butler. Friday 5/24: Brother and The Hayes @ The Woodshop
Brother and The Hayes, a Nashville-based sibling duo rooted in blues and folk, debuted with ‘The Dead End EP’ in 2017. They’ve since released ‘Tennessee Nights’, their full-length album, along with another EP titled ‘Another Strange Time’. Their latest single, ‘Ouachita Wind’, was released on May 10. Saturday 5/25: Isaiah Rashad @ Barrelhouse Patio
Isaiah Rashad returns for a homecoming show, commemorating the ten-year anniversary of Cilvia Demo. Chattanooga’s hip-hop giant, Rashad is praised for his thoughtful, conscious lyricism. Saturday 5/25: Velvet Christ EP release show @ Redbud

Saturday 5/25: A1A, Ogya World Music Band @ Riverfront Nights
The Riverfront Nights Summer Music Series launches this year’s weekly live music on the waterfront with a taste of Margaritaville at Ross’s Landing, featuring A1A, a Jimmy Buffett tribute band. Saturday 5/25: Jhett Black @ Yellow Racket
Jhett Black’s Southern Gothic sound blends foot-stomping rhythms and soulful gospel roots with raucous slide guitar. Drawing from years on the road with Gleewood and a passion for American roots music, his blues-infused performances reflect his journey from a New Mexico chicken coop to dive bars.
