Monday 7/22: Joelton Mayfield @ Cherry Street

Raised in Texas and now based in Nashville, Joelton Mayfield adds an indie rock spin to contemporary country rock. His debut EP I Hope You Make It received praise from Nashville Scene. Kicking off his Southeast tour in Chattanooga with his full band, the show also features Zack Wiggs from Austin, TX, along with Chattanooga’s Treespots and Eve Jean Boyd. // Cherry Street Tavern 9PM $10 at door

Tuesday 7/23: The Song Circle @ Songbirds

Wednesday 7/24: Margherita Fava Quartet @ Barking Legs

Margherita Fava, a pianist, composer, arranger, bandleader, and educator based in Knoxville, was born into a family of classical musicians in Follina, Italy. She discovered jazz at 17, which led her to study at Michigan State and earn a master’s degree in music at the University of Tennessee. Fava’s released her debut album TATATU in 2023 receiving praise from Downbeat and AllAboutJazz. // Barking Legs Theater 7:30PM $10 Ticket link

Speedy Ortiz, led by Sadie Dupuis, evolved from a solo project into a band that has toured the world. Now featuring Andy Molholt, Audrey Zee Whitesides, and Joey Doubek, their latest album Rabbit Rabbit blends post-hardcore and alternative metal, showcasing an evolving sound. Friday 7/26: Anya Van Rose @ Cherry Street Tavern

Anya Van Rose, known for her playful dreampop with a gritty edge—affectionately dubbed “bubblegrunge”—emerged from a background rich in music and creativity. Joining her on this powerful Friday night lineup is fellow Ohioans, alternative rock band The Buffalo Ryders. // Cherry Street Tavern 9PM

Saturday 7/27: MULT @ Boneyard

This Saturday at Boneyard will be a real shoegaze feast with an excellent lineup of four fuzzy bands from around the region. Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Greyland, Cullman, Alabama’s No Culture, and Nashville’s Maiden Mother Crone join Chattanooga’s own shoegaze favorites, MULT, for an evening of dreamy haze. // Boneyard Bar 8PM $10 at door

Saturday 7/27: Strung Like A Horse @ Barrelhouse

Chattanooga’s heavy alt-rock and Americana-inspired bluegrass band Strung Like A Horse celebrates the release of their latest album, Dirt, with a hometown show. Sunday 7/28: Ham Radio @ The Dragon’s Roast

Johnson City’s Ham Radio, known for their alternative rock and pop punk influences, has released four singles this year, including a cover of Post Malone’s I Had Some Help. They’ll be supported locally by Chattanooga bands Charlie Horse and Onion Milk.// The Dragon’s Roast 7PM $12 All ages
