Dom Flemons, a Grammy Award-winning musician and singer-songwriter, is set to captivate audiences with a free concert at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center’s Folk Art and Music Night this Thursday.

As a co-founder of the Carolina Chocolate Drops, the old-time string band that won the 2010 Grammy for Best Traditional Folk Album, Flemons has played a pivotal role in revitalizing and preserving traditional African American music.
