Get ready for a night of Speedy Ortiz!
The band will take the stage at JJ’s Bohemia on Thursday, July 25th at 9:00 p.m. with Liar Mute and Lunch Meat opening the show.
This show comes on the heels of last year’s release, Rabbit Rabbit, Speedy Ortiz’s first new album in five years.
Formed in 2011 as a solo project by guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist Sadie Dupuis, Speedy Ortiz has evolved into four piece indie rock band loved by audiences around the world. The first leg of their 2024 tour has 18 stops in 12 different countries.
Speedy Ortiz has toured with huge bands like Foo Fighters, Interpol, and Wilco, as well as indie music legends Stephen Malkmus and Thurston Moore. They have performed at iconic music festivals like Bonnaroo, Primavera, and Pitchfork Festival.

The current lineup showcases the musical prowess of guitarist Andy Molholt (Laser Background, Eric Slick), bassist Audrey Zee Whitesides (Mal Blum, Little Waist), and drummer Joey Doubek (Pinkwash, Downtown Boys).
The quartet’s latest album, “Rabbit Rabbit,” marks a significant chapter in Speedy Ortiz’s discography as it features the longstanding touring members contributing fully to the creative process.
