Dylan LeBlanc’s May 11 Show at JJ’s Bohemia: An Evening of Americana, Southern Gothic, and Musical Storytelling
Singer-songwriter and Southern storyteller Dylan LeBlanc will perform at JJ’s Bohemia on May 11 as part of his tour to support his latest album, “Coyote,” which was released last fall by ATO Records.
You can buy tickets to the show at JJ’s Bohemia here via Etix.
Following his performances in the South, LeBlanc will continue his tour in Europe with twenty-one shows across the continent.
LeBlanc’s alternative Americana sound draws inspiration from revered songwriters like Jason Molina, John Prine, and Willis Alan Ramsey. His Southern Gothic narratives stem from his admiration for literary icons such as William Faulkner and Flannery O’Connor, influenced by his experiences growing up in a crime-ridden area of Louisiana.
His 2023 release, “Coyote,” was recorded at the historic FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and mixed by his father, James LeBlanc, who is also a professional musician. The album features a notable lineup of session musicians who have collaborated with artists like Ringo Starr, Bob Seger, Sheryl Crow, and Lana Del Rey.
“Coyote” is LeBlanc’s fifth studio album and his first in four years. It received critical praise for its concept-based storytelling, suspenseful themes, and semi-autobiographical elements.

Steve Horowitz of PopMatters commended LeBlanc for successfully depicting the modern world without passing judgment, while American Songwriter’s Lee Zimmerman described the album as LeBlanc’s “most ambitious effort yet,” filled with suspenseful moments.
Tim Coffman from Far Out noted that “Coyote” harkens back to the old-school outlaw era, with LeBlanc expanding on the work of icons like Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson.
