Wednesday 6/12: Sawyer Norman @ Yellow Racket
Yellow Racket Records continues to book incredible shows with this stacked lineup featuring Greenville, South Carolina-based Sawyer Norman, an indie/alt rock musician who dropped the outstanding EP Funny Fish & Bread in March. Legit Smitty, a SC native now based in Nashville, whose moving songs bounce between lofi folk and alt rock. Wednesday 6/12: Jazz Night @ Barking Legs
Some of Chattanooga’s most talented musicians will showcase a jazz set at Barking Leg’s weekly jazz night. Ben Van Winkle, Valerie Duke, Adam Stone, Yattie Westfield, and Noah Prince will perform. // Barking Legs Theater 7:30PM $10 Ticket link

Wednesday 6/12: The Wood Brothers @ Walker Theater
Oliver and Chris Wood, dubbed the “masters of soulful folk” by Paste Magazine, lead The Wood Brothers. Oliver, a blues guitarist and adept songwriter, and Chris, a bassist seasoned in NYC’s jazz-rock scene, birthed their rootsy fusion of blues, folk, and rock through jam sessions in Nashville. Thursday 6/13: Rig B @ Sluggo’s
Catch some live slowcore shoegaze vibes as Rig B hits Sluggo’s this Thursday. Their latest album, “Now!“, dropped last fall, blending experimental sounds with pop songwriting, akin to a more structured take on The Microphones. Friday 6/14: Briteboy, Wieuca @ JJ’s Bohemia
The Athens/Atlanta band Wieuca drifts between experimental psychedelic noise rock and, well, any sound they feel like mastering. Local grunge-gaze band Briteboy performs one of only a handful of Summer shows as they’ve hinted new music is in the works. Locals Pinch Hitter, who just released a fantastic new single, and Athens-based Coma Therapy are also on the lineup. // JJ’s Bohemia 8PM 21+

Friday 6/14: Glen David Andrews @ Nightfall
It’s another week of spotlighting New Orleans natives at Nightfall, with renowned singer and trombonist Glen David Andrews headlining. As a globally touring musician since the age of 14 and cousin to Trombone Shorty, Andrews undoubtedly commands Crescent City jazz, gospel, rock, blues, and funk. Friday 6/14: Palmyra @ Songbirds
Palmyra, formed in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley and now based in Richmond, blends traditional and contemporary instruments with rich harmonies and heartfelt, and sometimes humorous lyrics. A modern callback to Appalachian and Midwestern Americana, Palmyra has earned acclaim from NPR, and American Songwriter. Friday 6/14: Joshua Cruce @ AVL Dispensary

Saturday 6/15: Shaky’s Bad Knee, Heather 86 @ JJ’s Bohemia
Another lively Saturday night at JJ’s awaits with headliners Shaky’s Bad Knee, a local grungy psychedelic band who dropped their third full-length record, Observations III, in May.
