Chattanooga dreamo band No Country returns with “Something Blue,” their first release since last year’s “Keepsake.”
The single pairs reflective lyrics with an atmospheric sound, creating a melancholic yet hopeful track. The song is well-crafted and well-produced.
The lyrics explore the complexities of love and commitment. Initially understated guitar melodies are layered with reverb, evolving from ringing tones to riffy textures, and leading to a lush, heavier conclusion.
