Melbourne’s Split System brings their energetic punk rock to Cherry Street Tavern on Oct 1st, with support from King Heard and Nashville’s Wesley and the Boys.
Australian garage-punk rockers Split System are bringing their ragged garage punk rock to Cherry Street Tavern on Monday, October 1st.
The music starts at 9 PM. Tickets are only $10.
Formed in Melbourne in 2022, Split System has quickly made waves with their tight riffs and high-energy punk sound. Their music is a fierce blend of 70s punk and modern garage-rock, perfect for fans of gritty, unapologetic rock n roll.
The band features Jackson Reid Briggs on vocals (of Jackson Reid Briggs & The Heaters), Arron Mawson on guitar (from Stiff Richards, Legless Records), Ryan Webb on guitar (known from Speed Week), Deon Slaviero on bass (The Black Heart Death Cult), and Mitch McGregor on drums (from No Zu).
After a whirlwind European tour in 2023, where they played venues across the continent, Split System is set to bring their explosive live performance to the U.S. with a ten-city tour that includes a stop in Chattanooga.
Their recent album, Vol.2, released in the U.S. through Memphis, TN’s Goner Records, highlights their talent for creating sleek and incendiary punk anthems.
