Joel Harris Drops First Single from Upcoming Album Extinction Letters
Chattanooga singer-songwriter Joel Harris has released “Feed Babylon,” the first single from his forthcoming album Extinction Letters, set to drop this fall via Yellow Racket Records.
Mixed by Ben VanderHart of Yellow Racket Records and mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Alan Douches, the track blends personal reflections with broader social critiques. Harris explores themes of faith, fundamentalism, and societal decay through the lens of his own experiences.
Musically, “Feed Babylon” weaves ambient, art rock, and folk elements into a slowly expanding, orchestral-style arrangement. Its sound and feel are both evocative and introspective.
Harris’s ability to create such a powerful and completely absorbing listening experience leaves us eager for the release of Extinction Letters.
The song is available on streaming platforms now.
