The intimate monthly concert series Quiet City returns this Friday with Catherine Campbell, Jayne Huntsman, and Lewis Armistead
Chattanooga’s Quiet City pop-up concert series returns Friday October 4th.
This intimate, listening room-style concert series features the best Chattanooga musicians in some of the city’s most unique locations.
This month’s pop-up will take place at Verre Noir, a magical little shop in the heart of Frazier Avenue that’s hard to classify.
They sell old books, but they aren’t a bookstore. They sell houseplants, but they aren’t a nursery. They sell art, but they aren’t a gallery.
From preserved insects to dried herbs and animal bones, Verre Noir feels like the kind of shop where you’d expect to find witches and wizards shopping the aisles.
The show will feature performances from Catherine Campbell, Jayne Huntsman, and Lewis Armistead.
Music starts at 8pm, and there is a $10 cover charge.
There is no alcohol sales, but guests are welcome to bring their own beverages.
Each show is recorded and airs on WUTC 88.1 FM the week of the show.
