Tonight, New York City’s country music superstar, Dale Hollow, will grace the stage at JJ’s Bohemia for what promises to be an entertaining night of country twang.
Described as ‘A bit Andy Kaufman and a hint of Father John Misty,’ this alternative country performer is embarking on a tour through the South, featuring a six-day showcase at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, before heading to the West Coast.
Dale Hollow released his debut full-length record, ‘Hack of the Year,’ last year via Tender Loving Empire Records
The album features wildly fun and somewhat insane titles such as ‘Big Rig in the Sky,’ ‘You’re Not Alone When You’re in a Bar,’ and a two-minute, almost country-punk gallop called, “Cowboys on TV,” that you really need to hear right now.

Dale Hollow will be supported by Yer Flowers, a Knoxville-based band that blends sounds of honkytonk country and punk rock. The band describes themselves as “a colorful growth of budding flora fed by the same river that baptized Dolly—a sensual journey of becoming that’d behoove ya to tag along for!”
