After releasing a new record and hitting the road for several tours—including a stint opening for Post MaloneDan Spencer is set to cap off an explosive year with a headlining show at Cherry Street Tavern on New Year’s Eve.

Chattanooga favorites Dixon Blake Callahan and Signs Following will kick off the night, setting the stage for Spencer’s “country goth” meets black metal.

The show kicks off at 9 PM, and tickets are $15 for this 21+ show.

Dan Spencer

A former embalming apprentice turned unpredictable lyricist, Spencer carved his reputation playing basement gigs and DIY venues across Tennessee, including multiple shows in Chattanooga.

In his latest release, Return to Your Dark Master, Spencer continues to blend humor, depth, and a willingness to take his sound to new territory.

Songs like “Cult Leader” and “Fat Vampire” demonstrate his knack for combining the unexpected—death metal wails, dreamy guitar interludes, and offbeat storytelling that’s as irreverent as it is moving.

If you’re drawn to lyrics that walk the line between sincerity and satire, then you’ve got your New Year’s Eve plans set.
