Mult, Gumm, Lockstep, and Dope Skum join forces for a genre-stomping showcase this Saturday in Chattanooga.
This Saturday night at Poor Taste, four bands with distinct sounds are set to converge in a heavy and high-intensity lineup. Gumm, a Chattanooga hardcore punk staple known around the country for their aggressive live shows and tight musicianship, will headline the evening.
Gumm’s 2024 is packed—they’ve toured with Soft Kill, shared stages with Fiddlehead, and are set to hit the road with Candy and Single Mothers this fall.
Joining Gumm are shoegaze noise-rockers Mult, who are riding a wave of local buzz with their debut album dropping next month.
Check out Mult’s latest single “Blackout” from their upcoming debut album Back Around below.
Out-of-towners Lockstep, hailing from Nashville, bring their own brand of shoegaze and noise rock to the mix, adding an extra layer of texture, and a few extra decibels to the night.
Kicking things off is Chattanooga’s Dope Skum, a stoner sludge metal trio that specializes in riff-heavy, crushingly loud tunes that are sure to set the tone for an evening.
This lineup spans everything from spacey ethereal hazy to ferocious punk energy. Support Chattanooga’s underground music scene by join in on the fun at Poor Taste this Saturday night.
