From parades to live music, Mainx24 offers a full day of celebration on Chattanooga’s Southside, showcasing local talent and community spirit.
For one day a year, Chattanooga’s Southside transforms into a weird and fun, round-the-clock celebration of community, creativity, and local culture. On Saturday, December 7, Mainx24 returns with its eclectic lineup of events spanning art, food, parades, parties—and plenty of live music.
The festival kicks off bright and early with the crowd-favorite EPB Southside Parade at 10:30 a.m., complete with floats, marching bands, and the kind of quirky, homegrown charm that only Mainx24 can deliver.
Throughout the day, you’ll find pop-up markets, street performances, and family-friendly fun like train rides and puppet shows.
Local businesses open their doors with specials, while bars and restaurants host everything from hot dog eating contests to rooftop parties.
