Miami’s Psychedelic Punk Rock Band MOLD! Stops in Chattanooga on August 23
Yellow Racket Records just won’t stop putting together some of the best live music events in the city.
On August 23 they’ll host MOLD!, a Miami, Florida-based band that fuses psychedelic rock with elements of post-punk and noise rock band. Also featured on the lineup are local acts The Ego Museum and Briteboy.
The all ages show starts at 8:00 p.m. and is $10. You can buy tickets here.
MOLD! is a four-piece band featuring Carlo Barbacci (guitar/vocals), Bronto Montano (bass/vocals), Joshua Sorio (guitar), and Francisco Lujan (drums).
Barbacci and Montano emigrated from Lima, Peru, to Miami, Florida, in 2017 and quickly made a name for themselves in the local music scene. They played at popular South Florida music festivals like Bumble Fest and Winterland and were named Best Emerging Act of 2021 by Miami New Times.
The band has released two full-length records: No Silence in 2021 and their sophomore album MOLD! in 2023.
