Atlanta post-punk Omni and Nashville alt-country Bats bring a killer mixed bill show to Chattanooga 10/30

Cherry Street Tavern hosts an eclectic night of live music on Wednesday, October 30th, as Atlanta post-punk trio Omni and Nashville alt-country project Bats take the stage.
The show starts at 9:00pm and tickets are $15.

Omni
Omni are an Atlanta-based trio known for razor-sharp riffs and wiry melodies. The band has spent most of the year on the road touring in support of their latest record Souvenir, hitting the U.S., Europe, and the United Kingdom.
Souvenir is a compact collection of punchy tracks that reflect the band’s pent-up creative energy after pandemic downtime. From the angular rhythms of “Plastic Pyramid” to the emotional nostalgia of “Exacto,” the record is tight, driving, and sharp.
It was released in February via Sub Pop Records.

Bats
Meanwhile, Bats, the project of Nashville’s Jess Awh, balances out the night with intimate, lyrically-driven songs blending traditional country instrumentation with indie rock flair.
In March, Bats released their third full-length album Good Game Baby, a relentlessly charming lo-fi country rock record, which Awh recorded in her Nashville living room.
The album features haunting pedal steel, fuzzed-out guitars, and evocative vocals that explore themes of heartbreak and self-reflection, delivering a distinctively independent country sound.
