Situated blocks from Main Street and nestled in the Ridgedale neighborhood is the Redbud music venue. The building is more than 100 years old and was originally constructed as a church. It now holds a live performance space and recording studio. There is a comfortable rear patio surrounded by a large fenced in green space.
The Redbud has great acoustics. The sight lines of the stage are mostly good, but occasionally obstructed. It has a very intimate vibe and it’s run by folks who are passionate about music and the neighborhood.
They book a lot of local and regional acts from different genres and offer occasional local showcases and open mics.
