The Chattanooga-based band Signs Following released their new single “The Last Great Mystery” on March 1st. It’s a gentle track that sort of floats along beside the vocals while riding atop a captivating lap steel arrangement. It’s a song that is sure to intensify the anticipation for further releases from the band.
Signs Following, originating as a solo project by Joshua Mays, has evolved into a highly collaborative band. The core members are, including Mays, Ben Johnson, Monica Wright, and John Hooker. With a fully recorded self-titled EP, the group plans to release singles gradually before unveiling the complete work in the coming months.
The band doesn’t have any live shows scheduled at the moment, but you can bet we will shortlist Signs Following as a must-see show when they begin announcing dates.
