Teni Rane Celebrates ‘Goldenrod’ Release with Free Show at Yellow Racket Recs

Folk-country artist Teni Rane will celebrate the release of her debut full-length album, Goldenrod, with a free concert at Yellow Racket Records on August 7th at 6:00 pm.

The event will offer listeners a chance to purchase signed, numbered vinyl copies, including a collectors edition WaxMage Custom Vinyl (only 10 available), alongside CDs and other merch.

Teni Rane is a singer-songwriter who draws inspiration from everyday stories and transforms them into songs that have a nostalgic, familiar feel while still being completely unique.

Rane’s jazzy vocals enhance her distinctive mix of country, Americana, and folk-pop, adding a captivating twist to her sound. Her songs evoke ordinary moments with an artistic touch that is both uniquely personal and broadly relatable.

Recorded at Classic Recording Studio in Bristol, VA, Goldenrod features co-production by GRAMMY-nominated Mike Stephenson and contributions from acclaimed musicians such as Dave Eggar (cello, piano) and Phil Faconti (guitars, ukulele), both GRAMMY nominees.

Having performed for nearly 15 years prior, Teni Rane’s recording debut began just four years ago with her 2020 EP Heart in Tennessee. American Highways praised the release its “wonderful ability to capture and communicate complex and simple emotions and observations in a way that we can all relate to in one way or another.”
