The Banshees headline an evening of alt-rock, joined by Land Camera and In The Company of Wolves at Barrelhouse Ballroom on Aug 30th.
Chattanooga’s The Banshees have been building momentum since forming in 2023, blending dark, moody undertones with jangly 90s alt-rock and sharp songwriting.
This Friday, August 30th, they’re bringing that sound to the Barrelhouse Ballroom along with Land Camera and In The Company of Wolves.
Fronted by vocalist and guitarist John Daly, with Jeff Grizzard on guitar, Joel Krautstrunk on bass, Grant Fletcher on drums, and Phil Moody on keys, The Banshees have been making their mark around town.
Their studio work has been picking up steam too, with two singles dropped in just the last month.

Land Camera
They’ll be joined by fellow locals Land Camera, an indie band known for their early alternative-inspired yet distinctly experimental approach.
Land Camera made a name in the Chattanooga scene with their 2009 debut Land Camera I and its 2011 follow-up Land Camera II before stepping away for a decade.
The band includes drummer Adam Brown, vocalist and synth player Ansley Greene, guitarist Callie Harmon, bassist John Lazenby, and vocalist Charles Allison.

In The Company of Wolves
Opening the night is In The Company of Wolves, a sibling duo made up of Sydney and Brayden Guerrette. Originally formed while on a cross-country RV trip, their indie folk sound is rich with storytelling and advocacy for mental health support.
Although now based in Huntsville, Alabama, they’ve remained active in the Chattanooga music scene.
Their latest single “Only Human” is a delicate, reflective tune worth a listen.
