The McCrary Sisters take the stage at Ross’s Landing this Saturday, June 8th, at 8 PM, with opener Luke Simmons & The Lovestruck for the third week of the Riverfront Nights Free Summer Music Series.
Dubbed “Nashville music royalty” by NPR, this week’s Riverfront Nights headliner, The McCrary Sisters—Ann, Regina, Alfreda, and the late Deborah—bring a rich heritage of gospel infused with soul, blues, rock, and R&B.
Daughters of the renowned Rev. Samuel McCrary of The Fairfield Four, the sisters grew up surrounded by music and have continued to uphold their family’s musical legacy.
They have collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, including Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, and Isaac Hayes, displaying their versatility and immense talent.
More recently, they have worked with The Black Keys, Sheryl Crow, Eric Church, Carrie Underwood, Hank Williams Jr., Dr. John, and Widespread Panic.
The Sisters sang on two songs from Cris Jacobs’ recently released record, One of These Days, including a track featuring Sam Bush.
You can listen to “Queen of the Avenue” below.
Famous for their collective harmonies and powerful presence, the sisters deliver live shows filled with soulful energy and infectious joy.
