NOTE: The Tivoli Theatre is currently closed for an extensive $70 million renovation that will include the construction of a new arts center next door. Construction is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2025.
Chattanooga’s oldest music venue is it’s most gorgeous. The Tivoli Theatre was constructed as a performance hall and movie theater. Since its opening in 1921 it has been home to symphonies, newsreel screenings, films, major theatrical productions, regional, national and international touring artists of all genres.
The interior is beautiful and the acoustics are phenomenal. Every seat has an obstructed view of the stage. The Tivoli Theatre has seating for 1,750 people so booking is primarily large regional artists and national performers.
