Keep an eye out for Pinch Hitter
The recently formed Chattanooga band Pinch Hitter dropped their second single, “The Age of the Roach,” on Friday, June 7th. It’s available now on all streaming platforms.
This self-described “weirdo medium-core indie rock band” debuted with “Withered Hand” in March and played their first live show last month at the Redbud, opening for Velvet Christ at their EP release show.
“The Age of the Roach” is harder, more distorted, and packs a punkier punch compared to their first single. “Withered Hand” starts slow and brooding with a shoegaze feel, building to a big, rapturous ending.
Both singles are impressive releases that make us excited to hear more from Pinch Hitter.
